I’ve been involved in sports for most of my life, trying many along the way. The one that stuck with me the most was football – it gave me direction and helped shape what I wanted to do.
As a teenager, I became more self-conscious about how I looked, but I didn’t do much about it at the time. I was told lifting weights would make me slower and heavier, so I avoided it. Only later, when I started studying and learning about my own body, did I realise how much misinformation and lack of understanding there is around health and fitness.
That’s why, when you train with me, my goal isn’t just to help you lose weight or build muscle. I want to help you build life-long habits and stay consistent, so you can improve your overall quality of life.
Training has to be sustainable—if it’s not, it won’t benefit you in the long run. I work closely with each client to figure out how fitness fits into their lifestyle, making it enjoyable and rewarding. Every client is unique; this is your personal journey, not a competition with others.
