Sports massage is a systematic manipulation of the soft tissues of the body that focuses on muscles relevant to a particular sport or fitness programme.

BIOGRAPHY
Since a young age and having a strong interest into anything health and fitness related, coupled with my background and experience in professional football, working within the health and fitness industry seemed a natural step to take. I thrive off helping people to achieve goals, so being a highly motivated individual, I decided to study further into sports massage, sports therapy rehab and specialise in sports psychology/mental strength training. I love being busy as I studied the extra qualifications mentioned above along side a psychology degree that I was already completing.
During my experience of working within professional football and training myself, I discovered how key it is to focus on both physical recovery and total body wellness, not just physical performance.
Health and fitness is something that is hugely important to people’s lives. As human beings we should take care of ourselves physically and mentally to ensure we’re all in top condition. A lot of people neglect the physical recovery aspect of the gym/training experience. However it is one of, if not the most important part of achieving your goals.
I like to live by and remind my clients of this quote;
“we don’t control what happens, we control how we respond”
With the health abs fitness journey, we can’t control when or where your aches or pains are going to come. However, what we can control is our responses to these. At The PT Factory, my job is to help clients to take preventative measures, to ensure they are in the best condition possible to prevent peoples body’s from breaking down.
My job can range from clients asking for general advice on how to improve their posture, to creating stretching routines for them. I work closely with the team of PT’s at The PT Factory, undertaking sports massage, using the most up to date technics (like cupping massage) and equipment such as the theragun.

PERSONAL TRAINING PACKAGES
Here at The PT Factory we have 2 different Personal Training Packages available to suit different budgets.
- Each Personal Training Package includes an initial consultation, where we get to know you and understand what your goals are.
- This enables us to design a fitness and nutrition plan bespoke to yourself, so when your not working hard in the gym, you still know what you need to do and eat to achieve your goals.
Due to our high demand from clients for our services, all personal training is available by block booking only.
Please note, we ask all clients to undertake a minimum of 3 months/3 block bookings of personal training sessions and prices will rise each April in line with inflation/cost of living and adjusted from Bank of England rates at that time.
